"As a woman I have no country. As a woman my country is the whole world."
-Virginia Woolf

Photography has taken me around the world and back. To far off places on the map and in my heart. This is a collection of moments that have moved me heart and soul. My hope is that within these pages your heart is engaged too by the images and stories.

travel experience

Like you, I also love to travel and experience new places and culture.  And if you haven't yet had the chance to visit Tuscany, Italy, then you are in for a real treat. I had the pleasure of indulging all of my senses as I explored the countryside, passing by charming villages and historic landmarks along the way. And let me tell you, the beauty of Tuscany is something that will stay with me forever.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Monteverdi, a hidden gem nestled in the hills of Tuscany. As I wandered the narrow streets, I couldn't help but feel like I had stepped back in time. The  architecture, was absolutely stunning. A place with no paved roads or sidewalks. Sweeping views of fields of gold, cypress trees and vineyards, Roman roads, watchtowers and walled cities. Trails leading through vineyards, olive groves, and ancient woodlands were nothing short of breathtaking. It was a real treat when we sat down to eat at Monteverdi.

Another must-visit destination in Tuscany is Villa Cetinale, a 17th-century estate located in the province of Siena. The villa has been beautifully restored, with gardens and terraces offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside. As I explored the grounds with my friend Sofia, I couldn't help but feel like I was walking through a fairytale.

Then there was Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, a hilltop luxury hotel village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. As we wandered the property, I felt a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to describe. This is where Sofia and I met with the team at Rosewood for the most decadent truffle mushroom pizza.

When you plan visit to Tuscany, I highly recommend taking a leisurely walk through the countryside and indulging in the incredible cuisine that this amazing region has to offer.

Exploring the Beauty of Tuscany

Executive Chef Giancarla Bodoni wowed us with her delicious, homemade pastas and other treats that were truly out of this world. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients, and you could taste the love and care that went into every bite.

Tuscany is an experience like no other. It's as if time stands still, and you are transported to a different era. The rolling hills dotted with cypress trees, the picturesque vineyards, the olive groves, the charming villages and historic landmarks create a sense of timeless beauty that is truly unforgettable.
